October 2017: ESL exhibited at the 2017 AAPA Annual Convention. The event was held in Long Beach, CA near the Port of Long Beach and even featured guided tours of the port facilities. The three day convention provided a great opportunity to display our safety-interlocked cord-connected power solutions and network with seaport leaders, maritime professionals and other industry influencers.

 

June 2017: ESL recently built a 1200A Wayside Panel for the Ottawa train station in Canada. A Wayside Panel is extremely important to power up trains during scheduled maintenance or layover. ESL’s Wayside Power Cabinets provide temporary plug-in power to passenger trains when the locomotive engines have been shut down and/or disconnected. Eliminating idling of a locomotive’s diesel engine while the train is parked reduces the number of toxins released into the environment.

 

April 2017: ESL traveled to Norfolk, VA to gather with key decision makers from across the Intermodal industry and to exhibit at the 9^th Port & Terminal Technology Conference & Expo. The show was well curated and provided a great opportunity for ESL to present our safety-interlocked cord-connected power solutions to industry professionals in an intimate setting. Port & Terminal Technology has been a staple of the ESL trade show schedule for many years and continues to be reliable resource for networking and growth.

 

March 2017: ESL Power Systems exhibited at Instrumentation Expo in 2017. The event was attended by members of the International Society of Automation L.A. Section at the Brouwerij West Brewery in San Pedro, CA. It was the first time the show was held at that location and the new venue provided a great opportunity to network with professionals from throughout the Automation industry and to learn about emerging technology trends. Instrumentation Expo is the largest exhibition, technical training and career fair on the West Coast dedicated to the design, application, installation, operation and maintenance of state-of-the-art process industry instrumentation, control & automation. March 2017: In early March, we made the trip to St. Louis, MO for the 57^th Annual USITT Conference & Stage Expo. During the exhibition, we displayed our ShowSwitch™ Company Switch and Pin & Sleeve Theater Outlets for attendees. As usual, USITT was a great opportunity to network with professionals from throughout the entertainment and performing arts industry and to learn about the future of theater design.
