Bilingual Customer Service Representative

SUMMARY

Full-time position responsible for carrying out detailed-oriented data entry and routine administrative duties and support services for the Sales, Engineering and Production teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responding to customers (and prospects) telephone/email requests for product information (technical specifications, cross-references, etc.).
  • Building customer rapport/support of ESL products and seeking new opportunities for ESL business via on-going communications and prompt replies to customer/prospect
  • Responsible for issuing quotes and confirming price justification for our different sales channels (e.g. contractors, end-users, OEMs, distributors).
  • Retrieves and updates customer information needed to process quotes, purchase orders, order acknowledgements, shipment notifications, RMAs and other customer documentation as needed.
  • Creation of job folders/files and insuring that all customer correspondence and job-related information is properly organized and adhering to our standard procedures.
  • Ongoing communications with customers confirming order status, delivery schedules, etc.
  • Shares responsibility for aspects of the weekly Sales/Production meeting (note taking, recording, updated sales orders etc.).
  • Assists ESL’s finance department concerning credit status.  Sends credit card authorization & wire transfer information for payment processing.
  • Processes customer contact information, logs in-coming/out-going calls, links emails and correspondence in our CRM tool (GoldMine).
  • Acts as a customer advocate within the organization.
  • Supports the needs of outside Sales and other internal departments as needed.
  • Self-starter, team player and accurate worker.
  • Maintains a professional image and positive attitude.
  • Completes all activities in a timely, accurate, courteous and efficient manner.
  • Accommodates request of customers in accordance with company standards.  Refers to immediate supervisor for requests that are outside of company specifications.

Welder

SUMMARY

Responsible for welding and fabrication of custom enclosures, raw material and proto-types, while under the general supervision of the production supervisor and department leads.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Weld variety of materials including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron and iron alloys.
  • Develop welding projects by analyzing work orders, prints, and completed assembly; calculating requirements; studying metals; determining appropriate welding techniques.
  • Verify welding results by inspecting and testing welds.
  • Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs
  • Hardware insertion, pressing and welding (studs, pem-nuts etc.)
  • Perform other duties/tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Welding certification is required
  • 3 years experience welding in manufacturing/job shop environment
  • Must be proficient in multiple welding processes – Mig, Tig and spot welding – all phases of structural welding is a plus
  • Must be able to read and interpret blue prints as it relates to the project
  • Grinding and Press experience is a plus
  • Ability to assist in layout and fab design a plus.
  • Ability to operate forklifts is a plus

Grinder Operator

SUMMARY

Responsible for setting up and operating  grinding machines to grind external or internal cylindrical or tapered surfaces of metal work pieces to blueprint specifications by following tooling instructions and standard charts and applying knowledge of grinding procedures while under the general supervision of the machine shop supervisor and department leads.  Handles drilling, de-burring, spot welding, and any misc. tasks required by sheet metal shop.

  • Knowledge of such as grinding speeds, feed rates, holding fixtures, and grinding wheels to be used.
  • Use small hand tools, measuring tools and drill motors.
  • Operation of various machines in Sheet Metal Dept.
  • Preparation and completion of custom enclosures.

  • Familiarity and ability to wire components such as relays, terminal blocks, push-buttons, PLC’s and other electrical components.
  • Use small hand tools, measuring tools and wire prepping tools.
  • Responsible for reviewing, laying out and wiring control panels from wire diagrams, customer feedback and general notes.
  • Ability to size wires for control and power circuits
  • Responsible for reviewing work tickets, drawings and BOM’s to ensure accuracy.
