CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

SUMMARY

Full-time position responsible for carrying out detailed-oriented data entry and routine administrative duties and support services for the Sales, Engineering and Production teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responding to customers (and prospects) telephone requests for product information (technical specifications, cross-references, etc.).
  • Building customer rapport/support of ESL products and seeking new opportunities for ESL business via on-going communications and prompt replies to customer/prospect emails/voice messages.
  • Responsible for issuing quotes and confirming price justification for our different sales channels (end-users, OEMs, distributors).
  • Retrieves and updates customer information needed to process Purchase Orders, creates & sends Order Acknowledgements, shipment notifications and RMAs.
  • Creation of Job Folders and insuring that all customer correspondence and job-related information is properly organized.
  • Ongoing communications with customers confirming order status, delivery schedules, etc.
  • Shares responsible for aspects of the weekly Sales/Production meeting (note taking, recording, etc.).
  • Assists ESL’s credit department concerning credit status. Sends credit card authorization & wire transfer information and payment processes.
  • Processes customer contact information, in-coming/out-going calls, emails and correspondence in our CRM tool (GoldMine).
  • Acts as a customer advocate within the organization.
  • Supports the needs of outside Sales and other internal departments as needed.
  • Self-starter, team player and accurate worker.
  • Maintains a professional image and positive attitude.
  • Completes all activities in a timely, accurate, friendly, courteous and efficient manner.
  • Accommodates request of customers in accordance with company standards. Refers to immediate supervisor for requests that are outside of company specifications.

WIRE PERSON

SUMMARY

Responsible for building custom control panels while under the general supervision of the Customs Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Read and understand wiring schematics and blueprints.
•Familiarity and ability to wire components such as relays, terminal blocks, pushbuttons, PLC’s and other electrical components.
•Use small hand tools, measuring tools and wire prepping tools.
•Responsible for reviewing, laying out and wiring control panels from wire diagrams, customer feedback and general notes.
•Ability to size wires for control and power circuits
•Responsible for reviewing work tickets, drawings and BOM’s to ensure accuracy.
•Abide by all rules and regulations as set forth in your employee handbook.
•Perform other duties/tasks as assigned.

PRODUCTION LEAD

SUMMARY

Responsible for over-seeing the building and assembly and enclosures while under the general supervision of the Production Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to read drawings, work tickets, BOM’s and wiring schematics.
  • Ability to use small hand tools, measuring tools, wiring prepping tools and machines in shop.
  • Ability to oversee the building and assembly of enclosures, sub-assemblies and modules.
  • Review work tickets, drawings and BOM’s to ensure accuracy.  Ability to identify problems and evaluate solutions, seeks input from appropriate management; co-workers if necessary and makes sound decisions to correctly solve the situations.
  • Ability to instruct and teach fellow workers the proper procedures and manage multiple jobs until finished.
