Punch Press Operator – 2nd Shift

SUMMARY

Responsible for setting up and operating AMADA EMK 3612 turret punch press. Load programs into machine, edit tooling and punch parts making sure parts are identical to the blueprint, while under the general supervision of the production supervisor and department leads.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Setting up tooling as required per job.
  • Inspecting 1st part.
  • Sharpen punches and dies.
  • Responsible for first articles and design prep with supervisor.
  • Fabricates and repairs, prototypes, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Creates custom programs on the machine hard drive
  • Repairs and maintains machine shop equipment.
  • Perform other duties/tasks as assigned, sustain 5S standards.
  • Handle work tickets accordingly.

WIRE PERSON

SUMMARY

Responsible for building custom control panels while under the general supervision of the Customs Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Read and understand wiring schematics and blueprints.
•Familiarity and ability to wire components such as relays, terminal blocks, push-buttons, PLC’s and other electrical components.
•Use small hand tools, measuring tools and wire prepping tools.
•Responsible for reviewing, laying out and wiring control panels from wire diagrams, customer feedback and general notes.
•Ability to size wires for control and power circuits
•Responsible for reviewing work tickets, drawings and BOM’s to ensure accuracy.
•Abide by all rules and regulations as set forth in your employee handbook.
•Perform other duties/tasks as assigned.

• Perform other duties/tasks as assigned.
