WIRE PERSON

SUMMARY

Responsible for building custom control panels while under the general supervision of the Customs Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Read and understand wiring schematics and blueprints.
•Familiarity and ability to wire components such as relays, terminal blocks, pushbuttons, PLC’s and other electrical components.
•Use small hand tools, measuring tools and wire prepping tools.
•Responsible for reviewing, laying out and wiring control panels from wire diagrams, customer feedback and general notes.
•Ability to size wires for control and power circuits
•Responsible for reviewing work tickets, drawings and BOM’s to ensure accuracy.
•Abide by all rules and regulations as set forth in your employee handbook.
•Perform other duties/tasks as assigned.

QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR

SUMMARY

Responsible for the inspection of quality for all raw materials, production processes, and finished products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Accuracy and attention to detail during the inspection of incoming items. Finished items and drawings match and meet the company’s standards.
•Ability to efficiently inspect a high volume of items in a short period of time. Ensure the proper release of items. Organization and ability to prioritize.
•Utilize all resources to effectively ensure safe inspection of items. (visual, tightness, dimensions, continuity, and any type of voltage tests.)
•Complete and file all the information collected during inspection of any product and relay the information to management. Update inspection forms and testing procedures.
•Provide assistance to other departments, as needed, to find solutions to any issues presented at that time.

WELDER

SUMMARY

Responsible for welding and fabrication of custom enclosures, raw material and proto-types, while under the general supervision of the production supervisor and department leads.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Weld variety of materials including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron and iron alloys.
• Develop welding projects by analyzing work orders, prints, and completed assembly; calculating requirements; studying metals; determining appropriate welding techniques.
• Verify welding results by inspecting and testing welds.
• Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs
• Hardware insertion, pressing and welding (studs, pem-nuts etc.)
• Perform other duties/tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Welding certification is required
• 3 years of experience welding in manufacturing/job shop environment
• Must be proficient in multiple welding processes – Mig, Tig and spot welding – all phases of structural welding is a plus
• Must be able to read and interpret blue prints as it relates to the project
• Grinding and Press experience is a plus
• Ability to assist in layout and fab design a plus.
• Ability to operate forklifts is a plus
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds

GRINDER

SUMMARY

Responsible for setting up and operating grinding machines to grind external or internal cylindrical or tapered surfaces of metal work pieces to blueprint specifications by following tooling instructions and standard charts and applying knowledge of grinding procedures while under the general supervision of the machine shop supervisor and department leads. Handles drilling, de-burring, spot welding, and any misc. tasks required by sheet metal shop.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Knowledge of such as grinding speeds, feed rates, holding fixtures, and grinding wheels to be used.
•Use small hand tools, measuring tools and drill motors.
•Operation of various machines in Sheet Metal Dept.
•Preparation and completion of custom enclosures.
•Abide by all rules and regulations as set forth in your employee handbook.
•Perform other duties/tasks as assigned.
