SUMMARY

Responsible for the inspection of quality for all raw materials, production processes, and finished products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accuracy and attention to detail during the inspection of incoming items. Finished items and drawings match and meet the company’s standards.
  • Ability to efficiently inspect a high volume of items in a short period of time. Ensure the proper release of items. Organization and ability to prioritize.
  • Utilize all resources to effectively ensure safe inspection of items. (visual, tightness, dimensions, continuity, and any type of voltage tests.)
  • Complete and file all the information collected during inspection of any product and relay the information to management. Update inspection forms and testing procedures.
  • Provide assistance to other departments, as needed, to find solutions to any issues presented at that time.

WELDER

SUMMARY

Responsible for welding and fabrication of custom enclosures, raw material and proto-types, while under the general supervision of the production supervisor and department leads.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Weld variety of materials including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron and iron alloys.
• Develop welding projects by analyzing work orders, prints, and completed assembly; calculating requirements; studying metals; determining appropriate welding techniques.
• Verify welding results by inspecting and testing welds.
• Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs
• Hardware insertion, pressing and welding (studs, pem-nuts etc.)
• Perform other duties/tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

BILINGUAL CSR

SUMMARY

Full-time position responsible for carrying out detailed-oriented data entry and routine administrative duties and support services for the Sales, Engineering and Production teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responding to customers (and prospects) telephone requests for product information (technical specifications, cross-references, etc.).
  • Building customer rapport/support of ESL products and seeking new opportunities for ESL business via on-going communications and prompt replies to customer/prospect emails/voice messages.
  • Responsible for issuing quotes and confirming price justification for our different sales channels (end-users, OEMs, distributors).
  • Retrieves and updates customer information needed to process Purchase Orders, creates & sends Order Acknowledgements, shipment notifications and RMAs.
  • Creation of Job Folders and insuring that all customer correspondence and job-related information is properly organized.
  • Ongoing communications with customers confirming order status, delivery schedules, etc.
  • Shares responsible for aspects of the weekly Sales/Production meeting (note taking, recording, etc.).
  • Assists ESL’s credit department concerning credit status. Sends credit card authorization & wire transfer information and payment processes.
  • Processes customer contact information, in-coming/out-going calls, emails and correspondence in our CRM tool (GoldMine).
  • Acts as a customer advocate within the organization.
  • Supports the needs of outside Sales and other internal departments as needed.

PRODUCTION ENGINEERING MANAGER

SUMMARY

Responsible for providing all of the engineering functions required to satisfactorily support a small business manufacturing company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages the detailed design of specialty electrical equipment and sheet metal enclosures.
  • Directly manage the engineering team regarding production projects, tasks and operations.  Ensure projects are handed off to the Production Department accurately and on time.
  • Develop and implement policies, standards, metrics and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department.
  • Recruit employees; assign, direct and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
  • Responsible for interfacing with the Sales, Production, and Quality Control Departments for all production engineering-related functions.
  • Develops and recommends revisions or enhancements to engineering processes, schedules, human and monetary resource allocations to ensure engineering activities are completed efficiently.
  • Works with the Director of Continuous Improvement to implement improvement projects/plans based on metric results.
  • Checks and monitors the engineering team’s work (drawings, BOM’s, etc.) for consistency and accuracy.
  • Assists Sales Engineering Manager and Director of Continuous Improvement in designing new products, equipment or systems taking into account cost, quality, efficiency, manufacturing methods, appearance and impact on the user.
  • Performs a limited amount of domestic travel (less than 2 weeks per year), i.e. trips to trade shows and to field locations to solve design-related problems.

LEAD GENERATION SPECIALIST

SUMMARY

Responsible for identifying and qualifying leads for the Sales Department and providing sales support functions requires to satisfactorily support a growing manufacturing company.

  • Track leads within the organization and determine success ratio
