ESL is seeking an experienced and resourceful Sr. Project Manager to support our fast-growing customer base. To thrive in this position, the ideal candidate should have proven and relevant experience in similar Project Management roles. As a Sr. PM, you would be working with all ESL functional areas, vendors, and customers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the complete satisfaction of our customers. ESL Project Managers are responsible for overseeing all facets of custom-engineered product orders, including estimating, quoting, engineering, manufacturing, and delivery. Additionally, working with the Project Management team, the Sr. PM is responsible for documenting and implementing best-in-class project management processes and systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read one-line diagrams and riser and determine ESL scope of supply for custom-engineered, special products or critical customers
- Estimate job cost and make pricing decisions in line with ESL’s overall pricing strategy
- Communicate clearly with customers, MRGs, and all internal departments to ensure that jobs are completed on time, on budget, and (most importantly) to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Decide when a change order is applicable, price change order, and submit a change order request to customers.
- Responsible for reviewing order status with production planning, and production supervisors, updating ERP, and communicating with customers.
- Solve customer technical and commercial issues and act as customer’s main point of contact for assigned projects
- Responsible for ensuring all project technical aspects and requirements are clearly communicated to engineering, planning, and production.
- Coordinate process documentation and training of the Project Management team to ensure consistency.
- Prepare and lead weekly project status meetings with the Customer Experience Manager and any other internal stakeholders.
- Identify and communicate as soon as possible potential roadblocks in every project inhouse

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for meeting sales revenue targets, establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and working routinely with our Manufacturer Rep Groups (MRGs). The Regional Sales Manager will also monitor competitive pricing/industry trends to identify emerging markets and develop plans for revenue growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for representing all ESL Power Systems product lines for a defined region.
- Achieving sales goals for revenue and maintaining profit margins.
- Use of the phone, Teams/Zoom, and in-person visits to develop relationships with new and existing customers.
- Point of contact for resolving customer inquiries (technical and commercial).
- Responsible for the training, analysis, growth, and management of Manufacturer Rep Groups.
- Responsible for generating sales reports pre/post business trips.

- Support the development of short and long-term business planning, including participation in new product development ideas.

Summary:
The Senior Planner will have a thorough understanding of efficient scheduling processes and production workflow. Under the direction of the Planning/Purchasing Manager the Senior Planner will develop production plans and master schedules for assembly and fabrication operations. The Senior Planner will also take lead in the Sales Orders Meetings with other departments to forecast expected revenue, identify operational or supply chain hurdles, and collaborate to find solutions. This position will be responsible for the Planning Department which will be efficient, detail-oriented, organized, cost-conscious, proactive, and responsive to internal stakeholders. They will conduct material requirements planning (MRP) to ensure a controlled flow for the manufacturing process and the availability of all resources required to meet customer and production requirements. The Senior Planner will be tasked with leading the planning of larger, more complex projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Determines daily production schedules for areas of responsibility based on engineering plans, production specifications, availability of parts, and loading requirements.
- Conducts plant capacity assessments and collaborates with Operations on suggested actions
- Oversees and coordinates production plans/schedules to ensure materials and parts are provided on a timely basis to meet scheduling requirements.
- Maintains communications with operations management and Customer Experience Group regarding the status and progress of sales orders
- Facilitates the resolution of labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other existing and potential production schedule interruptions
- Conducts advance planning for master schedules based on defined critical orders
- Provides planning input and coordination for formal proposals and quotation requests.
- Collaborates with Purchasing Department and production management in analyzing inventory levels and usage, scrap, and shrinkage and communicates current and future requirements to the procurement organization.
- Works collaboratively with other departments to understand planning requirements and timelines that are required and works with operations and purchasing accordingly as needed.
- Works with Project Managers and Buyers to develop timelines for delivery of required materials and finished goods
- Communicates and escalates problems timely to internal stakeholders.
- Facilitates process improvements and change initiatives in the department
- Utilize MRP tools to effectively manage schedules and inventories for both raw and work in progress
- Improve department proficiency and capability by leading future projects to include the configuration and testing of Epicor’s Advanced Planning System.

- Find alternate solutions to supply chain problems by working with Engineering and Purchasing Department

SUMMARY
The Design Engineering Supervisor reports to the Engineering Manager. Responsible for all aspects of Design Engineering across all phases of engineering projects involving the costing, analysis, research, design, development, fabrication, and testing of custom & standard electro-mechanical products. Supervises and manages technical staff working in the design section of the Engineering department. Partner with other supervisors within the engineering department to collaborate on department & company strategic initiatives/projects to drive improvement efforts. This position will also have an important role in serving as a Technical Advisor in our R&D & Engineering effort providing technical guidance to our team when necessary. The Design Engineering Supervisor must have expert-level knowledge of power electrical equipment with strong electro-mechanical background, and extensive knowledge of UL Standards & NEC requirements from the design perspectives backed by vast experience in electrical equipment solutions. Must be a strong people person successful in leading & connecting with technical staff while working with cross-functional teams and assisting with product design knowledge, applications, and regulatory requirements that align with evolving business needs & market requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the design engineering team in the development of custom, reliable, manufactural, cost-effective electro-mechanical solutions to meet customer needs.
- Lead the effort to design, fabricate, modify, and evaluate custom-engineered electrical solutions. Responsible for planning, assisting with designing, and overseeing the development/fabrication of electro-mechanical products.
- Maintains oversight of the design engineering technical staff providing guidance, direction, and coaching while evaluating performance through various departmental and personal KPIs and adjusting as required, coordinating the engineering functions within the department.
- Evaluation of subordinates, processes, tools, and resource requirements to achieve our engineering KPIs and growth goals; drives results through actions to develop those capabilities.
- Liaison with Designers, Application Engineers, R&D, Manufacturing Engineers, and other Departments for evaluation of new products/parts, first article, and transition from prototype to production.
- Provide documentation, detailed instructions, drawings, or specifications to communicate to others about how devices, parts, equipment, or structures are to be fabricated, constructed, assembled, modified, maintained, or used.
- Responsible for assisting with technical submittals, approvals, and concepts.
- Utilize CAD design software such as Solidworks/AutoCAD to create 3D models, drawings, and schematics for products based on customer specifications.
- Respond to departmental requests for changes in existing products to modify/enhance to obtain results in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
- Provides technical customer service both internally and externally.
- Assist in the design of new products, equipment, or systems considering cost, availability of materials, strength and maintenance requirements, appearance, and impact on the user and on the environment.
- Assist in the creation of BOMs and Item numbers in ERP system(s) using an existing defined process.
- Participate in the effort of new ERP system implementation from the Engineering perspective providing feedback on industry best practices.
- May be required to perform a limited amount of domestic travel, there would be trips to trade shows and to field locations to solve engineering-related problems.

- Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in a technical leadership role overseeing projects.
