November 2013: In response to the aftermath of Sandy, several states are taking action through legislation or incentive programs to ensure certain fuel stations are equipped with emergency standby power connections. New Jersey, New York, and Maryland are issuing grants ranging from $13k-65k to help offset the costs of backup power generation equipment. September 2013: ESL Power Systems, Inc. recently had the pleasure of exhibiting at Ports ’13 “Success through Diversification” in Seattle, WA. This prestigious tri-annual conference and expo is hosted by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and offers the global ports and harbors development community theories, practices, methods, technologies, and standards to create balanced and sustainable facilities. ESL showcased their reefer outlet assemblies, shore power connection equipment, ERTG disconnect boxes, manual transfer switches, and custom electrical equipment which is used in ports around the world.
