ESL’s eTRUconnect® is engineered for compatibility and ease.
Built with a standard IEC configuration, it connects seamlessly with most OEM equipment—eliminating the need for costly proprietary connectors.
The system uses a safety-actuated pin and sleeve connector that prevents power from flowing until a full, secure connection is made. While other high-cost solutions require extra pilot pins, ESL’s design simplifies the process by embedding a connection detection device directly into the safety-interlocked female connector. This allows fleets to either plug into an existing front-mounted OEM inlet or easily retrofit using ESL’s cost-effective truck-trailer kit.To protect both drivers and equipment, eTRUconnect® includes two built-in “drive-off” safety features —minimizing risk at the loading dock and at the truck-trailer.
